20.05.2008: Rotary Regatta Sail for the Roses 2008
On 16 May 2008, ANT-Amaco participated in this fund-raising sailing-event organised by Rotaryclub Amsterdam-Landsmeer. A crew of in total 40 ANT-Amaco employees and their guests was on board of the ‘Nil Desperandum’ and finished third of the 14 Clippers that participated in this regatta, organised for the benefit of KWF Kankerbestrijding (a Dutch fund for fighting cancer). At the end of the day the organising Rotaryclub was able to hand a cheque for EUR 22,229.50 to KWF Kankerbestrijding and we are proud that ANT-Amaco was able to contribute to the success of this fund-raising event. The photos on this website give an impression of the events of the day for ANT-Amaco’s crew. Also in 2009 ANT will participate in the regatta. We are looking forward to it!
